Curtis works on the Real Asset Income team, specializing in fixed income securities.
Curtis began working in the financial services industry in 2007 and joined Nuveen Asset Management in 2017. Previously, he was a Vice President at AIG Investments where he managed a $4 billion global portfolio of energy and infrastructure investments across the capital structure in both public and private securities. Prior to AIG, he spent five years at GE Capital, with his last three years in the restructuring group underwriting DIP, POR and pre-packaged bankruptcy financings for distressed energy, infrastructure, industrial and aviation firms. Curtis also held roles with GE Commercial Aviation Services underwriting principal equity investments in aviation assets and GE Capital Markets structuring leverage finance transactions. Curtis began his career with the Shaw Group working as a Project Finance analyst.
Curtis earned a B.S. in financial management from Clemson University and an M.S. in finance with high honors from the Villanova School of Business.
