Lynne manages the Institutional Advisory Group for Nuveen Asset Management, which is responsible for new business development, client relations and consultant relations in the institutional marketplace. The Institutional Advisory Group serves the investment management needs of more than 200 corporations, foundations, public funds and other institutions.
Lynne began working in the financial industry in 1983, and joined the firm that same year. Previously, she was a managing director for public finance at Piper Jaffray Companies.
Lynne earned a B.A. in political science from St. Olaf College and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas.
In 2007, Finance and Commerce recognized Lynne as one of the Top Women in Finance. She is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and serves as an advisor to the Committee on the Retirement Benefits Administration. Lynne is also a trustee on the board of Deep Portage Conservation Reserve and is the current board chair.
She has served on the boards of the YWCA of Minneapolis and the Development Corporation for Children.
